How this estimate works

- • The selected settling and waste factor is added before converting cubic feet to cubic yards or bag count.
- • The suggested blend allocates 60% screened topsoil, 30% finished compost, and 10% aeration amendment by volume.
Before you begin
- • The blend is a general starting point; native soil, crop needs, drainage, and local product quality may call for a different mix.
- • Bag contents can settle and suppliers may define a yard differently for delivery or compaction.
